A-lehdet sells growth company Genero to Swedish Collaboration Art – creating a new Nordic challenger
A-lehdet Group has sold its ownership stake in growth marketing pioneer Genero Oy to the Swedish company Collaboration Art (CA). The transaction marks a significant step for Genero as it enters a new phase of international expansion as part of a broader Nordic entity. Following the transaction, A-lehdet and the founding shareholders will become minority shareholders in Collaboration Art.

Collaboration Art is on a path to build the data driven agency group of the future. Genero brings leading expertise in growth marketing, its proprietary AI technology, and an 80-person expert organisation to the group. The entire staff will continue at Genero and will become part of the CA Group.

“It is great to see Genero ready to take its next step internationally. We will remain a minority owner in the new entity and continue to be part of the growth story and the expanding Collaboration Art,” says Heli Arantola, CEO of A-lehdet Group and, until the transaction, Chair of Genero’s Board.

Genero’s founders remain in operational roles, highly motivated to help build CA into a major challenger to traditional agency networks across the Nordic region.

Enhanced customer value through Nordic reach and AI

Collaboration Art is already present in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. With Genero, the group strengthens its position in Finland and deepens its expertise in marketing automation and AI driven solutions. The new, even larger entity offers growth-oriented companies effective data-driven digital sales and marketing solutions whose results are measurable.

As part of Collaboration Art, Genero will now offer full market presence in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. The integration also accelerates the development of Genero’s proprietary analytics platform, Aktio.io.

“We see enormous potential in combining our growth marketing expertise with CA’s Nordic platform. For our clients, this means we now have the resources to scale their business across all Nordic markets with even more advanced AI and automation driven tools,” says Rasmus Östman, Genero’s founding partner.

“Genero’s inclusion in the group is an important milestone on Collaboration Art’s growth path. Their innovative culture and focus on measurable growth fit perfectly with our strategy,” adds Gabriel Ghavami, Interim CEO of Collaboration Art.

A-lehdet building growth

A-lehdet Group’s mission is to support entrepreneur led growth companies in reaching their next stage of development by bringing in the group’s resources, capabilities, leadership frameworks and shared support functions.

A-lehdet became the owner of Genero in 2018, and the collaboration has propelled it to become Finland's leading growth marketing agency. Genero’s headcount has increased significantly, and revenue has grown from 5 million euros in late 2018 to 13 million euros in 2024. At the end of 2025, A lehdet held a 72.5% ownership stake.

“We are truly proud of how Genero has grown and evolved. Its entrepreneurial spirit, capacity for continuous innovation and strong customer focus have been at the heart of its success. Together, we have scaled Genero into a leading player in Finland while it has simultaneously developed pioneering technological solutions such as the Aktio.io AI tool,” says Arantola.
